Religion classes meet during the school year.

Preschool Religion
Preschool Religion is for three to five year olds and is offered on three Sundays each month during the 9:00 a.m. Mass throughout the school year. Classes are held in the Preschool Room in the Multipurpose Building. We encourage these young people to learn about God in a fun and positive way. Enrollment is done during the month of August.

Religious Education:
Children in grades K-8 receive religious instruction on three Sunday mornings each month from 10:15 – 11:30 a.m. throughout the school year. Classes are held in St. Gregory's School. They learn the basic teaching of the Catholic Christian faith. This program is designed for children who are not in the Catholic school. Enrollment is done during the month of August.

High School Religious Education:
This class meets in the library at St. Gregory's School. Freshmen and Sophomores meet on the second and third Sundays of the month from 10:15 – 11:30 a.m. in the Leitner Room and School Library. These classes are held throughout the school year, exploring the Catholic faith and traditions. Enrollment is in the fall of each year.

Confirmation Classes:
This is a year-long program to prepare students for the Sacrament of Confirmation. It is offered to all Catholic Junior students in the fall of their school year and runs until the last of April or first part of May. They must fulfill certain requirements: 30 service hours, 2 retreats, classes, choose a sponsor. Classes are held on Wednesday nights from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. and meet three Wednesdays of each month during the school year in the Parish Hall. The classes stress prayer, faith and community building.

Vacation Bible School:
Vacation Bible School is held for one week each summer, usually the last week of May or the first week of June, depending upon the end of the school year. Enrollment is held the last of April or the first part of May. Children from 3 years through the 4th grade are invited to attend.

Teens Encounter Christ (TEC):
TEC is a religious retreat sponsored by the Kansas City-St. Joseph Diocese for young adults who are at least Juniors in high school through college age. Upcoming TEC weekends are announced in the Sunday parish bulletin.
